Got to say I was thinking that. Dagenham motors would suggest it was around that time. If so then I was on the pitch that day LOL! Only thing that throws me is why are the fans looking up into the North bank? No directors or away fans in that area.
I think your find fans are looking up into south bank ! old west stand on left,the north bank is far end of picture !

It can’t be 86 because of the kits the fans are wearing on the pitch, it’s the Pony kit with Dagenham Motors shirt sponsor.
I would say sixth-round of the FA Cup in March 1991. We beat Everton 2-1 and it was Stuart Slater’s night. I remember it vividly. The commentator said at the end ‘I think we’ve seen a million pound player’!!
It was the last time I remember a (good) pitch invasion at UP. We had those nets in the 90’s and there is a blue and white brolly (bottom left) and a blue and white scarf (bottom right).
