  1. The players that ended up as good signings can be counted on one hand from that very long list even if you count Vaz Te for the goals that took us back to the premiership only… He was a pretty poor judge.

  2. I’m generously thinking only 5 out of that long, long list are decent.
    1) Adrian 2) Cresswell 3) Kouyate 4) Sakho 5) Poyet (potential)
Not counting Jenkinson or Song as they’re loans and we have to give em back

  3. Hope we land that Japanese striker
Mr miyagi, these names are not easy!!
I used to think cottee was strange, 😂
But if any of them play Alf as good as he did I’d be happy, 👍🏻

  4. Christ alive!! 60 signings and less than 10 any good?? Goes to show that if you throw enough shit at the wall, some of it sticks!

    • Agree Lee, granted some of them were loans, some were even for a few months, but still, a lot of cash was spunked up, on some very poor players

  5. I’m not a BFS fan by any means but anyone would think we were Chelsea or Man Utd the way we’re talking about these signings. Getting Nolan in when we’d just got relegated was a bloody smart move for us, we could have ended up like Leeds or Forest. And Alex Song before injury/spat with Sam was outstanding. Collins and Downing were both good signings given the stature of the club when we signed them. Jenkinson has proved himself useful as well.
