  1. Harry is and always will be a very average manager with very few trophies of note in his cabinet. It speaks volumes that the most successful managers were great players for the club over the years, but we were a club that kept things in house up until recently really, starting with macari.
    I still think that long term to push on to the top level a bilic will be the answer but I’m happy to see big Sam giving it a good go.

  2. Billy Bonds’ high win percentage looks suprisingly good. However, under his tenure Hammers was a yo-yo club and large number of the wins came in the old Second division.

    He still has the best win percentage of all Hammers’ permanent managers. I don’t think he was a particularly good manager though.
