Stats say he can score.
Looking at pre-season form and Neil McDonalds testimony, Modibo Maïga is finding his shooting boots. I think we should give him a chance. We obviously thought he had the quality to cut it in the Premier League when we coughed up around £5m for him. If we are going to buy another striker why not buy a proven Premier League striker rather than a player who has played most of his career in Turkey and Russia. Odemwingie would be a great signing in my opinion. He can score, has pace and skill and will be looking to show everyone he has still got it.
Problem we have is that just about everyone in the PL is outbidding us on transfers and salaries.
