Are we in the money or is Carroll about to turn us down?

neg

Is anybody else wondering why we have made a bid of 14.5 million for Alvaro Negredo? We have had a bid of 15 million accepted for Carroll but yet to reach personal terms. Then news breaks that we have had a huge bid turned down for Negredo.

If Carroll hasn’t turned down personal terms then it would mean we have made a bid of nearly 30 million for two players? Do we have a secret investor backing us? Or has Carroll turned down our offer and we are now looking elsewhere?

We don’t have that kind of money to spend on two players so it’s one of the two above in my opinion.

    • Read that as well Alan. A 20% wage increase – ontop of your already obscene salary. Whufc – PLEASE don’t pay him this. Only Liverpool were mad enough to rate him so highly – it’s THEIR fuckin’ problem, not ours. Of course we would love him at the boleyn, but not on 100k a week
