West Ham have lodged a bid for Blackburn LB Martin Olsson and are waiting for Blackburns response. It’s a gamble the Hammers are playing because with Blackburn managerless they might not except anything until a new guy is at the helm. But considering Allardyce has just won compensation from Blackburn regarding Keane’s comments in public I cant see them doing any business with us!
The other option will be Villa’s Stephen Warnock if the Olsson deal falls through. He has been left out in the lurch since Lambert took over and seems surplus to requirements especially when you consider he was recently loaned out to Bolton! But who do you think is the right choice for our LB problem?
P.S. consider one more thing. Blackburn supports seem to agree that Olsson is more of a LW player then a LB but they all agree he is class.
