Hammers interested in another Dulwich Hamlet star
CRYSTAL Palace and West Ham United are both chasing Dulwich midfielder Quade Taylor – but neither has yet tabled an offer according to Hamlet boss Gavin Rose.
The 17-year-old from Streatham has trained with both clubs in the past fortnight and looks set to be the latest youth product from the Ryman Division One South club to make the leap into the Football League.
But Rose said: “We’re still waiting on an offer from Palace – as we are from West Ham. Both clubs have told us they are preparing an offer to come across to us this week.
“When that comes we’ll consider them but at the moment Quade is very much a Dulwich Hamlet player.
“The club will have to look at any bids and see if they are acceptable to us. Once we’ve gone past that then it will be down to the player and probably his family as to where he would like to continue his career.
“I wouldn’t want to throw too much speculation about that because we’ve not even had an offer yet.”
