‘Dirty’ Arry mind games
Harry Redknapp insists he is in no rush to offload Robbie Keane.
The Republic of Ireland international is out of favour at Tottenham Hotspur, having made just two starts in the Premier League this season.
West Ham United have reiterated their interest in signing Keane this month, but Redknapp insists he is in no rush to see the 30-year-old leave White Hart Lane.
“I’m not in a desperate rush to get rid of Robbie Keane, I like Robbie Keane, I think he’s a good player,” said the Spurs manager.
“If he stays he will make the 25-man squad. There’s no way I would leave him out of the squad. I’ve got too much respect for Robbie Keane as a player and as a person.”
