After the Houghton sacking we can safely say Grant will be next

I don’t care what the bosses put out in the media they will look at the Newcastle situation and start thinking plan B. Newcastle are 11th and pretty much safe, yet they feel they needed to replace Houghton to take it to the next level.

Doesn’t matter what people think right now Houghton isn’t a manager to take a club to the next level so they have showed some balls and assertiveness in getting rid of him now and replacing him with a manager that will get them to Europe next season (even this season if they go on a run)

So that brings us nicely to our situation, publicly they continue to back Grant even though we are sitting at the foot and showing no signs of getting out of this shit we are in. Jol looks like he will take the Newcastle job and ONeill is still waiting….

They must have twitchy fingers right now. They can see Newcastle want the club to progress and have made changes accordingly so what does West Ham United want? If they stick with Grant we are as good as gone so do they bite the bullet and get shot of him? Or get him an assistant and attacking coach and hope it works.

If they stick with Grant and we go down then they will only have themselves to blame. If there were no suitable replacements then I would understand but as it is right now there are THREE great managers without a job but it looks like they might of already missed the boat.

Jol – Going to Newcastle (It would appear)
Rijkaard – Going to Ajax (It would appear)
O’Neill – Still think Liverpool
