Cameroon keeper Carlos Kameni linked to West Ham United
Cameroon international goalkeeper Carlos Kameni insists he is only interested in playing for Espanyol as speculation continues to link him with a move to England.
The 26-year-old was on the verge of moving to Wolves seven years ago, only for the transfer to fall through when he was unable to obtain a work permit.
Fulham and West Ham United are now believed to be interested in Kameni, who has won more than 60 caps for his country and has featured in almost 200 matches for Espanyol.
However, the shot-stopper said about the speculation: “Now I only think about my work, for training and not other questions. The rumours are rumours and I do not want extra pressure.
“The papers have praised my performances in the last few matches but I do not need to demonstrate this as this is my mission each day.”
