West Ham eye Itay in January
Hapoel Tel-Aviv striker Itay Shechter is being closely watched by Liverpool, Everton and West Ham United, who are all hoping to bring the forward to their side during the January transfer window.
Shechter found the back of the net in the 93rd minute during the Israeli side’s Champions League encounter against Schalke, with the German club winning 3-1.
Israeli TV station Sport 5 claim Everton and West Ham officials were in the crowd scouting the 23-year-old hitman. Reds officials are said to be following the forward from now until the transfer window opens, to monitor his performance.
Hapoel remain three points adrift of Benfica in third place in Group B. Their next match in the competition is at home against the Germans on November 2.
