Villa plan 16million ‘talent’ out the door (Coker one of them)
Gerard Houllier has a three months before the January transfer window to decide what to do with 16 million of talent.
Thank fuck we are rid of them two bling blings
After enjoying back-to-back victories with Aston Villa, Houllier has some off the pitch problems to deal with. He faces an early headache with Nigel Reo-Coker, Steve Sidwell and John Carew as they will be out-of-contract next summer.
Aston Villa spent out 16 million to land the trio, 7.5 million for Reo-Coker from West Ham, 5 million for Sidwell and Carew was a swap deal from Lyon worth 3.5 million.
By January the trio will be able to speak to foreign clubs over a move on a bosman. The midfield pair featured against Wolves. Whilst John Carew is a fan favourite after scoring 52 goals in 127 appearances for the club.
Although if the club did off load the trio it would ease Villa’s 70 million wag bill. With all three players reported to be earning around 50,000 pounds per week.
If Houllier did decide to sell the players it will come with a huge price deduction.
