John Terry and Frank Lampard could be fit for this weekend’s clash with struggling West Ham United. Both the Chelsea captain and vice-captain were ruled out of England’s Euro 2012 qualifiers against Bulgaria and Switzerland. But Carlo Ancelotti, the Chelsea coach hinted both could play against the Hammers.
Terry is struggling with a hamstring problem and Lampard has a groin injury. “Lampard had surgery and I think that he will start to train this week,” Ancelotti said. “We will see how he trains and we will take a decision for the game against West Ham. Terry didn’t have surgery but he used the last week to improve his hamstring. He will start to train with the squad this week and I think he will be able to play.”
