Hammers set to make a Jan bid for Tuncay
West Ham United Football Club are set to ask for Tuncay Sanli in the New Year.
The Turkish international only joined Stoke City last summer in a £5million deal from Middlesbrough, but he has struggled to nail down a regular start under Tony Pulis.
Tuncay was expected to leave the Britannia Stadium during the window, but he looked sharp in pre-season and the Potters decided to keep hold of him.
However, the 28-year-old has made just two substitute appearances in the Premier League this term, and he is likely to be pushed further down by the arrival of Eidur Gudjohnsen.
The People claim the Hammers wanted to take Tuncay on loan in the summer, and they are being tipped to renew their interest when the window reopens in the winter.
