West Ham lining up Cole’s replacement
West Ham have lined up a move for Brescia front-man Andrea Caracciolo .
Caracciolo is a tall striker with great heading ability.
Strong and well-built, the 28-year-old is a true target man who holds up the ball well and is very dangerous at set pieces.
However, he has recently improved his technical ability and can now also play behind the front man if called upon.
He scored against West Ham for Palermo in the UEFA Cup in 2006 and bagged 24 goals last season.
West Ham are said to have targeted Caracciolo as replacement for Carlton Cole, should the England striker leave the club.
