Felipe Caicedo? & Jeremie Aliadiere?
West Ham are hoping to finalise a double transfer swoop in the next 48 hours with the signings of Manchester City striker Felipe Caicedo and former Arsenal forward Jeremie Aliadiere.
Avram Grant is desperate to bolster his forward line as Carlton Cole is the only fit recognised striker at Upton Park.
The West Ham boss was dealt a major blow when a deal to bring Ajax striker Miralem Sulejmani fell through after he was denied a work permit.
Grant has now switched his attentions to 21-year-old Caicedo, who has fallen way down the pecking order at Manchester City.
The Ecuador international has been shipped out on loan to Sporting Lisbon and Malaga, but is keen to show he can still compete in the Premier League.
Caicedo is believed to have undergone a medical at Upton Park and is due to agree a season-long loan.
Aliadiere, 27, is a free agent after his contract ran out at Middlesbrough and is also desperate to get his career back on track.
The French striker is keen to make up for his last spell at West Ham back in 2005 when he arrived at the east London club on loan, but failed to make any impact due to injury.
Aliadiere impressed Grant during his recent trial with the club and will arrive on a free transfer.
