West Ham sniffing around the new Dyer
Jermain Jenas has emerged as a potential target for West Ham United Football Club.
First and foremost the Hammers are determined to keep Scott Parker at the club, and have offered him a new contract in the hope of ending speculation over his future.
Both Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur are interested in the 29-year-old, who is expected to tell the Upton Park club of his intentions in the coming week.
If Parker asks for a transfer, it is being suggested that Avram Grant will turn to England international Jenas, who is struggling to cement his place in Spurs plans.
The London Evening Standard claims Harry Redknapp is prepared to listen to offers for the former Newcastle United midfielder, who would cost around £6million.
