Diamanti a target says Parma Sporting Director Pietro Leonardi
Parma are pondering a move for West Ham forward Alessandro Diamanti .
According to the News of the World, Olympiakos have targeted the 27-year-old, but reports in Italy suggest that Diamanti is keen on a return to Serie A.
And Parma have targeted Diamanti as well as Newcastle United target Hatem Ben Arfa as a fallback for plans to sign Juventus striker Sebastian Giovinco .
“If Giovinco doesn’t arrive, then the alternatives are Hatem Ben Arfa and Diamanti,” said Parma Sporting Director Pietro Leonardi.
“We need to make transfers that will ensure players can grow with us for a certain period of time.”
