Could James Return to The Boleyn?

David James could make a return to West Ham United Football Club this summer.

The England international is expected to leave Portsmouth after the World Cup Finals, when he will be out of contract and available to sign on a free transfer.

Although he will be 40-years-old when next season begins, he is in great condition and there are sure to be a number of interested parties for his signature.

It is believed that the Hammers, who are ready to sell Robert Green during the window, will look to take James from Fratton Park and install him as their new number one.

The 6ft 5in shot-stopper is already familiar with the Upton Park club, as he made over ninety appearances in their colours during a three-year stint which ended in 2004.
