G&S to up their stake
David’s Gold and Sullivan are to increase their joint stake in the club to 60%.
The duo, who hold a combined 50%, will each acquire a further 5% in the next two weeks.
That will mean £10m being put into the club for transfers.
Icelandic bank Straumur hold the other 40% and have been taking a back seat ever since Gold and Sullivan came in in January.
Meanwhile, Gold and Sullivan have defended themselves against accusations that Gianfranco Zola had no knowledge of a move gor Graham Dorrans this week.
Gold says the approach to West Brom – made via agent Barry Silkman – was an ‘exploratory’ approach. This is why Zola wasn’t informed….
Oh dear only 10million quid in the transfer kitty!? What happened to the pulling all the stops out to get quality in?
