Does anyone know why we don’t wear our 2nd kit anymore?
I’m no expert, but as far as I can recall this season it has been worn just the once, the first game of the season against Swansea City. We seem to have ‘adopted’ last seasons away kit as this seasons, but I haven’t read anywhere officially exactly why. Anyone know?
..because we look like Chelsea.
Our ‘blue’ shirts of recent years (2 with Reebok, one with umbro & fila) have all been dark/navy blue – Chel$ea/Rangers etc have always played in ‘royal’ blue. Dunno why we have to ‘rotate between white dark & then light blue though. Still, probably better that allowing designers on acid to come up with pink/orange & brown, stripes – or worse……..
